Sono di Succivo un piccolo paese della provincia di Caserta, da dove nel 1903 partirono Gabriele Cavallo e Mariagrazia Del Prete (Graziella for family). Graziella was granmother's sister Vicenzella, che mi ha tanto parlato di lei ai tempi della mia infanzia. So che abitava a Brooklyn, il numero non lo ricordo più, ma nonna Vicenzella a suo modo pronunciava :< Savot' Brooklyn'.Cosa significa SAVOT'? forse South? italiano SUD?
Ho fatto ricerche su Ellis Island trovando documeti del loro arrivo a New York e dei loro tre figli nati in Italia:Nicola, Salvatore e Francesco. Gabriele e Graziella hanno avuto altri figli, hanno avuto fortuna in America? Dove sono sepolti? are they loro discendenti che conoscono, da racconti della famiglia, le loro antiche origini. Dove devo rivolgermi? Qualcuno conosce loro discendenti?....vorrei contatto solo per saluto.

Hi all in the forum. I've tried to translate (to the best of my ability) what succivo is looking for. Here's the translation

Hello to all and compliments for the forum, very good.

I'm from Succivo a small commune of the province of Caserta, from where in 1903 left Gabriele Cavallo and Mariagrazia Del Prete (the family called her Graziella instead of MariaGrazia). Graziella was my grandmother Vicenzella's sister, she talked about her many times during my childhood. I know they lived in Brooklyn the address is not in the memory anymore, but grandmother Vicenzella pronounced it: Savot Brooklyn. What does SAVOT' mean? Perhaps South? SOUTH Italian? I did searches on Ellis Island finding documents of their arrival to New York and of the their three sons in Italy: Nicola, Salavatore and Francesco. Gabriele and Graziella had other sons, had luck in America? Where are they buried? (sorry all this part I didn't understand), from stories of the family, them their ancient origins. Where I should research myself? Someone knows their descendents? ....would like to contact to say hello. Thanks to all ....greetings from the Italy.

P. S: perhaps Nicola, Francesco or Salvatore came to Italy in 1965

At the top of my post I have asked the questions - Are you looking for children (relatives) of the 3 boys. Were the boys born in Italy and moved to US, were the boys born in US. I told him my Italian is very little but I'd try to translate to english so people here could help.

His/her grandmother is Vicenzella. Grandmothers sister is MariaGrazia Del Prete (they called her Graziella). Graziella was married to Gabriele Cavallo and they came to US in 1903. He/she remembers his/her grandmother talking about Brooklyn as they place of residence. And to the best of my understanding he/she is looking for children or grandchildren of the boys mentioned as well as address of where the family had lived and also where are they all buried. He/she also is wondering if the boys were in Italy in 1965.

Maybe people can pull Brooklyn census information for 1910, 1920 and 1930. I'll look for the manifest of Gabriele and Graziella so we have a reference point.
