Birth Certificate from Italy

Postby davidlatour » 01 Feb 2008, 23:23

I requested my g-grandmother and g-grandfather's birth certificates about 7 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing since. I mailed the letters in italian to Acri, Cosenza and Vieste, Foggia. Has anyone else had experience with either of these communes and should I be concerned yet?

I would mail it again, addressed to the Mayor and marked 2nd request. There could be an election in the wind and then you won't hear anyhting until its over as its the same office that does the electoral roles.
