I need your help again. Now I am looking for my mother's side of the family. Her father's name was Carmine Alise,DOB about 1888 in southern Italy. He came to the USA either in 1902 or 1906. He married Zoie Knapp on 17 Feb 1910 in Pennsylvania. They lived in Hallstead Pennsylvania most of their life. I have Pennsylvania census records for them. What I am looking for is death records for either one and any records for Carmine from Italy. Please send me any thing you can find on them.

Thank You
John

1906 ship manifest for Carmine Alisi line 6
Age 16, YOB about 1890
Last residence Anagni (currently in province of Frosinone, region of Lazio)
Destination New York NY to join uncle Magno Fabrisi?
Interesting to note that some of the others on the manifest from Anagni are going to Scranton PA.

Since your grandfathers worked for the railroad, they would have been part of the US Railroad Retirement Board rather than Social Security. Here's a link to the board with information on the records available, fees, etc.
