Hi and welcome to the forum. LDS has the following microfilms....

Civil records 1809 to 1929
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Library ... o+civile++

nati=birth
marito=death
matrimoni=marriage

Write down the film numbers with descriptions that you'd like to view, go to your nearest Family History Center (FHC) to order. Takes about 4 weeks to receive and films must be viewed at your FHC. Cost is approximately $5.50 per film.

If you have questions just post back and someone will be glad to help you.

Regards,
Elizabeth

Your last name is pretty rare. There are only 4 communities in Italy where the name exists. (Put in Coraluzzo where it says cognome)

http://www.gens.labo.net/en/cognomi/genera.html

And there is only one person in the white pages with that name.

However, Take a look at this. 8O

Apparently the name Coralluzzo is much more common,

Perhaps that is the original spelling of the name.

My research indicates the correct spelling is Coraluzzo. I need to know how i can find birth certificates in Italy. My grandfather is Enrico Coraluzzo and was born 5/3/1881. Came to USA July 29, 1903 from Montecorvino. His father ( my great grandfather) was born sometime around 1835. His name was either Santillo or santo Coralluzzo. Need to know how I can possibly find their birth records.

Hi George,
I provided you with the links so you can get the actual birth records.....recorded at the time of your grandfathers birth. It will list his parents full names, day and time of birth, etc.

This is the film you would want to start with if you think he was born about 1881.

FHL INTL Film 1803475 Item 1
Nati, pubblicazioni, matrimoni, morti 1875-1890

This covers births, marriages and deaths between 1875 and 1890.

Hope this helps.
