Spagnotto is local to Torino province and not found in the Italy surname dictionary but appears to be a derivation of ther base surname Spagna. Go to www.pagine bianche.it to see the distribution of the Spagnotto surname in Torino province. =Peter=

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.

Are you looking for living relatives or trying to research ancestors? If you can give as much detail as possible it will help people on the forum so they can help you.

For reference.......I used the exact spelling of the surname and came up with the following manifests

Spagnotto, Cristina Vallo Torinese, Torino age 2 b. abt. 1913 arrived 1915
Spagnotto, Domenico Vallo, Italy age 27 b. abt. 1886 arrived 1913
Spagnotto, Maria Vallo Torinese, Torino age3 b. abt. 1912 arrived 1915

Regards,
Elizabeth

Hi Paul,

If you need to write letters to send to italian relatives try this...........

write your letter in English and post it on the translation forum, ask someone to translate to italian for you. There are quite a few italians living in italy that will be happy to translate your letter for you. Just a suggestion......hope it helps.

Glad you got at least one response.

I see you're from the UP........check your in box I've sent you a pm.
