Response from Comune di Trabia-Help!

Postby Marlena » 26 Apr 2008, 02:53

Can any one help translate these letters from Comune Di Trabia, Sicily?
I wrote back in December 07 about my g-great grandmother, Salvatora Vallelunga born abt 1840. I'm not sure if they are saying the records were destroyed and I need to go to the Saint Petronella church? And who is Maria Ciraulo?

Thank you Suanj !

I had a feeling this was another mix up!!! I can't believe I waited four months for the wrong information and someone else is not getting theirs. I will send back the papers or will that be too much of an insult?

Thanks!
Marlene

Hi marlene, I believe that the officer must understand the error, so: send back the other certificates, and writing:
Gentile Ufficiale dello Stato Civile,
Distintamente,
Marlene......

smile, suanj
