I go there to the Feast of St. Gerard every fall...but I suspect that's not the type of connection you're looking for...LOL. I do have a friend who grew up in that parish. What are you looking for?
BTW, for anyone near Newark, it's a great feast.

The Family History Center has church records for St. Lucy's.

I was just wondering if anyone had a connection to this parish. It's a rreal unique place for sure, very old fashioned type of church. It is a shame that they are closing down so many of the old Italian ethnic parishes in the USA. So much of the culture and neiborhoods have already been lost. The churches are usually the last places standing that remind us of our history and culutre.

I got married at this church last year. It's so beautiful. It's considered a historic site in Newark.
