Orphans

Hello, does anybody know how to trace any info on orphans? My Mother-in-Law's Mother's Mother was an orphan who was placed in an orphanage in Cavour. We are not sure how to get any additional information about her and where she came from.

If you have an approx birth date you may be able to find a record of her birth in Cavour by writing to the comune
