Who knows what Tadols are or where the word comes from?

As a nation state, Italy has emerged only in 1871. Until then the country was politically divided into a large number of independant cities, provinces and islands. The currently available evidences point out to a dominant Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultural influence on today's Italians.

I was just speaking to a friend of mine whose family is from central Italy. She calls the cookies I call knots, tadals. She is going to send me her family's recipe. When I get it, I'll post it. :wink:
