Old picture. Here's the link. Somebody want to help?

As a nation state, Italy has emerged only in 1871. Until then the country was politically divided into a large number of independant cities, provinces and islands. The currently available evidences point out to a dominant Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultural influence on today's Italians.

Sorry Giammartino, but you've already posted this same photo twice before on this forum and also on the Translation forum.

Some suggestions have been offered and even though they may not be useful, there doesn't seem to be a lot of point in just repeating the same request with the same photo time and again....

If you have looked into the suggestions made and they are not useful at least say so - so others don't inadvertenly go down the same track....

Its luck, people read certain ones. I appreciate the fact you read all, but some read only those of interest or newer posts.

Some ideas/suggestions have been posted in reply to this on the "Italian language, handwriting , script & translations" forum here.
