Franceschini and Franceschin families

Postby JohnRussellFranceschini » 18 Oct 2008, 03:34

Hi

I am doing my family history and there is some confusion over whether my family name is Franceschin or Franceschini- I am looking for anything before the 1930's.

Hi John
My wifes maiden name is Franceschini and she comes from the north of Italy Trieste. So i would say Franceschini is the correct spelling

Hi,
Both surnames are correct. Surnames without a vowel at the end, usually, originate from Veneto region.
