could someone translate this for me?

Hi all,

This is from the back of a picture a friend gave to my grandfather. Could someone pls tell me what it says?

Here you have the translation:
"Dear father-in-law,
I send you this photograph of this animal. But tell me if this animal is beautiful or not".

Maribor,

Thanks so much for your help. The funny thing is,
the person who sent it was a boy in his teens, and
as far as I know he gave the pic to my Grandfather.
Is it possible that the term for father in law could
mean something different in possibly a dialect or
something? I'll have to scan the image so you all
can see it. The boy was a childhood friend of my
grandfather's, as he appears in multiple photos
(and of course noone now knows who he is :( )
