What is this name?

Postby Tomil42 » 14 Jul 2009, 00:13

Hello,
I have found a name in Lipari baptisms that looks like this:

CAJATANEY

It is probably Latin?

Can anyone suggest what the name really is? The writing was very hard to see and read.

Thanks for any help!

The latin name is Caietanus ( http://66.71.182.1/declinazione.php?lem ... =caietanus ), which has an italian equivalent in Gaetano.
