Translator Help please

Post by JScanio »

Has anyone had experience with translators in the following locations to refer?

Santiago de Chile
Mendoza, Argentina

We do not live there and are arranging for family to help collect the documents but they do not know where to send them for translation.

Your help is appreciated!

Grazie!

In case you do not get recommendations for local translators, I would like to suggest that the translator need not be local. I have seen on this forum several recommendations for translators (some are members of this forum, in fact), who work through email or regular mail. (You can search the forum for those messages.) Most of these translators do English to Italian, but some surely will do the Spanish to Italian for you.

Good luck!

We do in fact have several members who excel in the Spanish language!
Once you receive the documents you can post them here for translation or if you prefer I can pm you with some referrals.

You might wish to ask by e-mail info@familias-argentinas.com.ar for the E-mail address of a translator Marie Renee Rodrigue which I believe to be mrenee@fibertel.com.ar I do not know anything about her comptence or charges.

The www.familias-argentinas.com.ar/us_principal.htm is a website that is involved with Argentina Genealogy. =Peter=
