Can anyone translate a Latin document?

Postby rdel4577 » 03 Oct 2009, 01:20

I have found the church marriage record of my great grand parents. While I can read Italian, I have no expertise in Latin. This parish in Bisacquino, Sicily has all the documents in Latin. I was able to figure out my grandfathers birth record but am lost on the marriage record. By the way, Family Search, Record Search Pilot, has posted the images of church records the Diocese of Palermo. Bisacquino is only one of the cities.

I did have some difficult with the surnames 'cause i live quite far from that area and i'm not familiar with them.

Die 30 eiusdem
Denuntiationibus rite praemissis i(uxta) S(acri) C(oncilii) T(ridentini) ... nulloque legitimo impedimento detecto Ego Sac(erdo)s D. Ignatius Picardo huius Matres Parochialis Ecclesiae Bisaquini in eadem ecclesia interrogavi Vincentium di Luca civitatis Corleonis(?) fil(ium) legit(imum) et natur(alem) quondam Vincentii, et Castrensis(??????) Firmatura(???) olim iugalim dictae civitatis, et Josepham Xxxx vid(uam) Stephani Cannatello(?), fil(iam) leg(itimam) et natur(alem) mag(nific)i Michaelis, et quondam Antoninae Saladino olim iugalem huius (civitatis) eorumque mutuo consensu habito per verba de praesenti matrimonium conjunxi coram testibus m(agistro) Lainardo Agagino et magn(ifi)co Jacopo Francale.

Il giorno 30 dello stesso (mese ed anno) (so you need to see the previous act for knowing the right date)
