Would appreciate help translating

Postby cormiertree » 19 Apr 2010, 16:44

I found this military record in some family papers. My maternal great-grandfather was Guiseppe Tarantino. I believe there is probably a lot of family information in these papers. Can someone help me extract the information I've been trying to find to add to m family tree ? I tried google translate but since I can't out the information in context, I didn't get great information from the online translation. If someone can help me I would appreciate it very much. THANKS!!!!! Michele

It is the military discharge of Giuseppe Tarantino born in Atripalda (Avellino Province) on June 19, 1861 son of Ippolito and Elisabetta Navaro.
He served for 1 year and 9 month as a digger.
