Cono first name exist, for devotion to Saint Cono martyr ( 1° century d.C.)
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Cono

I know that this first name is used especially in south Italy ( Salerno province, Campania region)..
Conuccio ( no Canuccio) must be the diminutive of Cono..

It means "cone" as in cono gelato = ice cream cone.

http://www.wordreference.com/iten/cono

PS: Of course, this may not have anything to do with its useage as a name.

Hi, but Cono first name is a first name of turkish heritage; because Saint Cono (or Conone) coming from Bidana town in Turkey, near Iconio town (Iconio/Konia second the language spelling if italian or turkish)
so, my idea is that ice cream cone is no right... maybe it is pertaining of Saint Cono birtharea...

Unfortunately, computers are not as clever as human beings and they do not understand if you are close: you are either right or wrong!
ctrl+C and ctrl+V would avoid any mistake!
