in detta matropolita Chiesa**

*Per verba [de] presenti: "through words about the present" (Latin); their vows at this time to each other were legally binding, although not sanctified by the church ( http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=it )

Today 31 March 1856
After having published the notices (banns of marriage for 3
consecutive feast days
during the main mass, the first was the 9th,
the second the 16th and the third the 23 of this current month (March)
and not having discovered any legitimate impediment
the Reverend Regio Xxxx Don Giovanni Di Gesù
questioned Nicolò Salamone of this city of Monte, widower
of Maria Grazia Fannello,
son of Nazareno Salamone and Angela
Mammina, and Ignazia Guardì who still lives in
this city, daughter of Saverio Guardì
e Concetta Papella, and had the consent
of both for "verba de presenti*(their vows at this time to each other were legally binding, although not sanctified by the church) were married
in this metropolitan church.
Present as witnesses were Girolamo
Braccola son of Antonino, e Fi-
lippo Neri di Matteo di Monreale
and after, according to the rites of the Holy Church, they were
blessed through the holy mass by Rev.
Canonico D. Francesco Siracusa through his parrochial license
in this Church**

*Per verba [de] presenti: "through words about the present" (Latin); their vows at this time to each other were legally binding, although not sanctified by the church ( webcache.googleusercon...&gl=it )

**In the catholic Church the archbishop metropolita is an archbishop that presides over an ecclesiastical province (a district within the diocese) and that depends directly from the Holy Sea. The title is linked to the bishop's seat: the episcopal seat is more important , ecclesiastical province is themetropolitan archdiocese, the other seats are said ?
