Help with finding the correct spelling for a profession?

Help with finding the correct spelling for a profession?

I have the proffesion transcribed as the following:

siznile
tiznile
fiznile
jiznile

sirnile
tirnile
firnile
jirnile

these are the nearest letters i could transcribe. Please could someone help me to turn this profession into a correct spelling???
NAMES: Capaldi-Tedesco-Tamilio-Minchella-Verrecchia-Tomasso-Franchitto-Innelli-Arpino-Caringi-Colacicco-Macari-Pinchera-Salera-D'Orazio-Ambrosino-Di Mambro-Sigliocolo-Masello
PLACES: Cassino- UK, USA, Ireland, Canada & Australia

This is like a blindfold game, so without seeing the document, here goes:

"Civile" is a profession which means landowner.

That's the best I can do in the dark. :)
