Can someone tell me when Angela was born and when she married Giovanni Salzillo or do I have to try to scan a better image?

Thank you
Jim

Marriage date looks like Dec 1, 1900. I realize she would only be 15, but I think 1900 is correct.

As to her date of birth, I can't make out the day at all. The record is dated March 15, 1885 and the birth took place in the current month.

Not a very good image but it looks like 15 Mar 1886. Not sure about the six.

Wedding looks like 1 Dec 1900 but she would be pretty young.

GOOD NEWS!

I found the marriage document. It looks like the marriage took place in 1910. It says Angela is 25 in 1910.
However, I'm struggling with her mother in law's surname Antonia ?????. :?

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

The year 1885 is not questionable. If you look at the record, the date at the top ends in the word cinque which is the number 5.

I'm glad you agree, as I have no other guess on this one, Jim.

Cannot be "di Crescenzo". The "di" stands for "figlio di". Also the ending letter is an "a". My best guess for the surname is "Cosenza".

I have to concede to Livio on this one, Jim, although the third letter does not look like the letter s. Possibly the surname Cosenza was spelled differently at one point. The only other surname I had considered was Cocozza, but the letter before the z that loops down doesn't look like another z. It does look like the letter n.

I have a better image of Angela's birth act. I believe the day is sudetto.

Yes, and apparently I did not scan the 2nd part of the birth act. It looks like it contains another marriage annotation.

What do you think?
