In riscontro alla Vs nota sopra indicata,si comunica che da ricerche effettuate,risulta essere nato in questo Comune il 03/05/1898 tale BASILONE Salvatore figlio di Pasquale e di CALASCIONE Mariantonia.
Si comunica altresì che alla data del 11/10/1903 NON risulta essere nato in questo Comune nessun BASILONE Salvatore.
Per eventuale richiesta di certificato,pregasi inviare :richiesta,busta già affrancata e diritti di Euro O,26.-
In attesa,si porgono distinti saluti

He is communicating to you the results of his search. He only found a Salvatore Basilone who had been born in that town on May 3, 1898, the son of Pasquale Basilone and Mariantonia Calascione. He says his search did not result in any Salvatore Basilone being born in this town with the date of Oct 11, 1903, which you must have sent him.

If you want to request the certificate, please send your request with prepaid self-addressed envelope and 0.26 Euros.

He also sends you his distant greetings.

(***Just bear in mind, that you cannot put U.S. stamps on the envelope for return postage. You have to go to your local post office and purchase International Reply coupons (IRCs) which an Italian can then take to his post office and exchange for stamps. Possibly someone else on the forum knows of another way to prepay the postage, but this is the only way that I know of doing so).
