Hello,

I would appreciate it very much if someone could decipher and translate this certificate.

Thanks!

The day 8 of the month of august 1889 is born PAMPINATO VINCENZA daughter of ANTONINO and MARTINA SALVATORA as result by birth registration in the registers of this municipality order number 239.
This has been released only for judicial use

Maybe is not in perfect english but I hope it's enough to understand

Vincenza's last name was Panepinto

The mother's name was Salvatora Martina. Martina was the mother's maiden name

The birth record # was 239

Thank you very much.

Does the last date say something about February?

It's possible the year of the birth is 1879 and not 1889. I think the word is settantanove and not ottantanove on the record.

The Feb 4th date is the date that this extract of the original birth record was written. This is not a photocopy of the original birth record but rather a copy that was created when it was requested. I think the year in Feb is 1982.

I believe the year of the February date is 1912. The "8" in the birthdate line is very distinctive... :-)

I agree that the birth year is 1879 :-)

You know, T, I was going to type 1912 or 1982, and then went with the more recent date.

The year of the birth though is definitely 1879, which is the important information.
