once again i need help!! this is my great grandparents atti di matrimonio...I was wondering if there is a mention of a church. I want to visit the town of Pignola and when i do i hope to go to their church. thanks so much

There are two Churches listed in the yellow pages for Pignola

Parrocchia S. Maria Maggiore (in the town)
Santuario Maria SS. degli Angeli (outside of the town - more like a shrine or sanctuary)

The witnesses were Nicola Sabatella 43 yrs. old and Giuseppe Martucci, 63, landowner

i see that angelo signed at bottom and maria didnt is this because she was unable to write?? attached is a copy of the end where it might mention it

Yes, the last lines of this page state that "with me signed the groom and the witnesses, the bride did not know how to write"
