After Antonia's name and parents unknown, could someone tell me what is after that?

Does this mean that she was adopted by Antonio and Ninfa Spinnato?

Also going through films I have noticed that in newborn babies they have written that the parents were unknown? Were these babies that were given up for adoption.?
