1843, september 18th
Maria Orlando, public midwife, did witness in front of me, royal notary D. Giovanni Di Gori(?), that she baptized in her house a baby in imminent peril of her life born today by the spouses master Saverio Guardì and Concetta Pupella of Monte, and she was given the name Giovanna.

Thank you very much for this translation. It was very interesting. I was wondering why it started differently then the usual Baptism record.
