Help with translation into Calabrian

Postby phil170258 » 17 Jan 2011, 08:08

Hi everyone,

I'm a published author who is currently writing a novel (in English) in which several of my characters speak the Calabrian dialect (or one of the Calabrian dialects).

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a Calabrian dictionary and was wondering if there is a native Calabrian speaker out there who could help me.

There's really only a few phrases that I need translated.

thanks, Phillip

Phil, no promises but I can ask my Great Aunt (born in Calabria) to see if she can help. I should be seeing her this weekend.

Let me know.
