Postby simondavid2008 » 19 May 2011, 14:23

Hi everybody,
Just wondering if anybody could be very helpful and help me to translate an E-mail into Italian. It is not a very long mail, but would be extremely grateful to anyone that could help. Thank you.

Email is as follows:

"Dear Mr Luca Vettraino,
Thank you very much for your reply, sorry to bother you again, but I am just wondering if you are related to:

Vettraino Pietro
16132 Genova (GE) Passo Vezzelli Armando, 10

Or

Vettraino Rosaria
16035 Rapallo (GE) Corso Roma, 29
If you are related to these people, I would therefore, not have to contact them regarding possible relations. Again, I can not thank you enough for your help."

Hopefully someone can help.

It is a minor detail, but reformat the addresses like this:

Sig. Pietro Vettraino
Passo Vezzelli Armando, 10
16132 Genova GE

Sig.ra Rosaria Vettraino
Corso Roma, 29
16035 Rapallo GE

You could easily leave of the CAP codes (16035/16131) and the province code (GE), for the purposes of your letter. Perhaps:

"Sig. Pietro Vettraino, Passo Vezzelli Armando n. 10, Genova, e Sig.ra Rosaria Vettraino, Corso Roma n. 29, Rapallo"

would be best. The "e" after the first Genova means "and".

"Gentilissimo Sig Vettraino,
grazie mille per la sua cortese risopsta e mi dispiace disturbarla di nuovo, ma mi sto chiedendo se per caso lei è imparentato con:

Pietro Vettraiono abitante a Passo Vezzelli Armando, 10, Genova

e

Rosaria Vettraino abitante in Corso Roma, 29, Rapallo

Nel caso Lei fosse imparentato con queste persone, ovviamente non le contatterei per verificare una eventuale parentela con me.

La ringrazio nuovamente per il suo prezioso aiuto"
