HELP please with translating and email from Palermo!

Postby ginaruiz1998 » 08 Jun 2011, 15:02

Hello! I received the following email from the Archives in Palmermo this morning! I do understand what documents that they have....I am having a hard time figuring out the payment portion of the email. Here it is!

Cosmo Di Salvo, stato civile di Bagheria, registro n. 29, carte 321 recto e verso;
Anna La Piana, stato civile di Bagheria, registro n. 42, carte 310 recto e verso;

Are they looking for 16.30 Euro TOTAL or per document? Also...are they asking for and International money order paid to the Archivio di Stato di Palermo??

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Ciao!

Gina

To obtain a copy of the acts mentioned above, send a postal order EUR 16.30 international (of which Eur 9,00 per paper copy and € 7.30 from digital for shipping by registered post) made payable to: Archivio di stato di Palermo-Ufficio cassa- corso V. Emanuele n. 31, 90133 Palermo.

Specifies that the postal International is the only form of payment as possible as this is not the State Archives of bank account holder.

Thanks Marty! However, I think I am more confused than before! Do they want me to send an "International Money Order" or an "International Postal Order?" Sorry for the ignorance...I just have never done this type of transaction before and I want to make sure I get this correct!

Thank you!
