Deciphering Parents Names

Postby mdyer » 04 Mar 2012, 17:35

I found death records for a couple great-grandparents yesterday. I'm having difficulty deciphering names of two of their parents. Any help would be appreciated.

The first record is for my 4th Great-Grandfather, Vincenzo Prioriello. It looks like his father's name is Antonio, but I'm at a loss for what it says for his mother. See the following link: http://postimage.org/image/maduh9k73/

The second record is for a 4th Great-Grandmother, Lucia Patullo. Her father's name is Pasquale and the mother's given name is Annamaria. I'm unsure, though, about the mother's maiden name. I think it might be Sipo, but suppose it could be Siso or Sifo - the third letter is difficult for me to decipher. The record is here: http://postimage.org/image/wadcawku7/

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks, John. Appreciate it.

For the first record, Camilla is Vincenzo's wife. In the line above that, I can't make out the blurb providing his mother's name. Are you able to decipher it?

After further scrutinizing the first name of Vincenzo's mother, I wonder if it's Restituta? I'm still at a loss for the remainder of the name. http://postimage.org/image/maduh9k73/

I would agree that Vincenzo's mother's given name is Restituta.
After that looks like "di Massimo"
Di Massimo is a name found in Campobasso...

I agree with Tessa: Restituta di Massimo. That surname can be found in Baranello (CB) today.
