Name: Vito D'amato
DOB:November 28 1858

Fathers Name:Michele D'amato

Vito was born Nov 26 1858 at 10pm and the birth was registered the day after (27) at 4pm.
In my opinion Rosa's surname is Fanelli.

In the above post, Sabino suggests that you search for Michele and Rosa's marriage act to get their parents' names, he also states that Rosa's profession is not mentioned.

Thank you so much. The only other document I had on rosa her surname was clearly fariello , but I just found more records on her and it definitely look like fanelli , thank you for not letting me over see that.

All of Vito's siblings Birth Certificates have 'Rosa Fanelli' the only thing that says or looks like it says 'Fariello' Is Vito's Marriage Certificate.. and now Im looking at it and it could say 'Fanello'.. which still isn't 'Fanelli'... How common are spelling errors on these records??

Could you post the record where you see Fanello?

Okay so this record below is the one I know is my great grandparents marriage record. I'm not sure the birth record I posted above for Vito d'amato is the same family because Rosa's last name.

Sabino wrote:Qui il nome è FANIELLO.

L'atto di nascita e quest'atto di matrimonio corrispondono a due famiglie diverse.

Translation of the above message from Sabino:

Here the name is FANIELLO.

The birth act and this marriage act are related to two different families.
