Help with portion of birth certificate

Postby mpizzo » 25 Mar 2012, 05:04

Can someone help me with the below portion of a birth certificate?

I believe the section states...

"Lo stesso ha inoltre dichiarato di dare al bambino ... il nome di ... Simone, e Francesco."

What are the two other words? I think that the words are "redetto" and "Agorrino." However, I was unable to confirm that "Agorrino" is an actual name.

I think that it is strange that the child would be given three names. All of the other docs that I have for the siblings of the child list only one name. Why would the child be given three names?

Here is the rest of the document...

"Lo stesso ha inoltre dichiarato di dare al bambino sudetto il nome di Agostino, Simone, e Francesco."

I have no clue why he was given three names...
