Birth Record

Postby tomtst » 23 Apr 2012, 04:02

This is the birth record of Concetta Bonetti, I know her father is Antonio Bonetti and mother is Filomena Corrado. I think it says she was born in March 1891. Ok now for the questions I have.
What is Concetta's middle name?
What day of the month was she born?
What does the line say below Corrado Filomena?
Who is Giacomo Corrado? I think Filomena's father was Michael.

Hi Tom :-)

Yes, Immacolata Concetta Bonetti was born on 27 March 1891 at noon, and was presented to the official at the town office for the recording of the act of birth on the 28th of March.
Presenting the child was Antonio Bonetti, age 40, peasant farmer, who declared that at the place at Contrada Lagari (no #), to Filomena Corrado - "sua legittima moglie, contadina, seco lui convivente" - his legitimate wife, peasant farmer, living with him... was born a female child to whom was given the name Immacolata Concetta.

Witnesses to the recording of the birth act, not the actual birth act...
Giacomo Corrado, 32, peasant farmer; and Antonio Santoro, 40, peasant farmer...
May or may not be related...usually just available at the town hall. :-)
