Help with marriage record

Postby JOHN08 » 06 Jun 2012, 19:12

Is the date of death for Giuseppe de Sanctis, son of Fernando de Sanctis, the 10th of March 1837?

Is Nicola de Sanctis, the father of Giuseppe de Sanctis? Is the date of death listed for Nicola?

What is the surname of the bride, Maria Domenica? What is her occupation?

Thanks for your help.

John

Hi John :-)

The first image isn't opening for me. Error message :?

From what I can see on the second image...
Maria Domenica's surname appears to be di Falco.
She is 20 years old and a weaver (tessitrice)
She is the daughter of deceased Pa???? di Falco, a sculptor? (looks like scultore); and of living Rosaria Pasquale.

Glad to help :-D
Is the date of death for Giuseppe de Sanctis, son of Fernando de Sanctis, the 10th of March 1837?

I believe you mean Giuseppe de Sanctis, FATHER of Ferdinando... :-)

The first image looks like...

#17
Dated 1 July 1838
Appeared Ferdinando(?) de Sanctis, of age 29, peasant farmer, born and residing in this comune; son of deceased Giuseppe de Sanctis, peasant farmer who died 10 March 1837 at age 60/62/63? (hard to see); and the living Maria Marroncelli(sp?).

There appears to be something written about the "avo paterno" (paternal grandfather) being Nicola de Sanctis, peasant farmer who died 11 March 1810 at age 80.

Tessa,

Thanks for the info. I can now research the death records for Giuseppe and Nicola de Sanctis.

Thank you,

John
