Help with Reveli

Postby bvbellomo » 14 Jun 2012, 22:04

I am trying to read a Reveli from Polizzi Generosa. I am mostly interested in a microfilm version from ~1750 I ordered, but part of the 1811 is online and very similar and also of interest (some of these names are my ancestors).

I don't see any 'Bellomo' surnames in the 1811. Does that mean my family wasn't in Polizzi Generosa in 1811? Or that they didn't own land or something? Or could they be elsewhere in the reveli?

I can read the names on the left, but not the writing on the right. If I knew what it said (family members, land owned, tax money owed, etc), I think that would help me figure it out.

The moderators took a while to approve this topic. I have since found new information, and know the 'Bellomo' family was not in Polizzi Generosa in 1811. I'd still like to know more about reading a reveli, but also created a 'Newbie to Riveli' thread for that.
