Could use help reading these - Catalano

Postby lilbees » 24 Jun 2012, 16:47

This is the death record for Elvira Catalano who died I believe in Tunisia. According to the records I have she was born 1894 record no. 324 but it doesn't seem that is what is in this record located in part 2 of 1897.

Any help would be appreciated.

Elvira Catalano, aged 3 years, born in Tunisi to Salvatore and to Teodora Catalano, died at 4:30Pm on Nov 24 1895. The death was registered on the day 25 at the General consulate of Italy in Tunisi with act #335 and was transcribed in Lercara Friddi with act #25 on October 12 1897.

I believe this is not the Elvira Catalano born in 1894...

Thank you Livio. What I had from Tunisia has a birth year of 1894. Will have to write again for more information to clarify if there is another Elvira. In the case a an earlier sibling, the next child was named to same. So I do understand the possibility.
Thank you again,

If you go to FamilySearch
Italy, Palermo, Termini I...on (Tribunale), 1862-1910 - Lercara Friddi - Allegati (vari) 1895-1898 Image 2528 of 2878
you will see the "Estratto di Morte" released by the Italian Consulate in Tunisi.
