Thank you very much for the replies...I was hoping it was going to be my grandmother unfortunately she is deceased but we always celebrated her birthday on the 26t January..she said she was born in 1901..and the earliest record of her being in England is in 1928..I guess i'll probably never know now..her Sons (including my Father) never had any real information about her.

Thanks again for the replies.

Was Manfredi here maiden name or married name?
Was she from the Como area in Italy?
Do you know her parents name?

Hi Marty..all i know is that she married my Granddad under the name of Margaret (anglicised) Manfredi/Manfreda..I just wish i had been interested in my Family tree whilst she was still alive but she died in 1994 and my dad in 1999.
