Death Record Information

Postby JOHN08 » 06 Jul 2012, 06:31

The death record per my translation:

On 5th of November 1816 appeared Pietro de Sanctis son of Nicola, age: 40, peasant farmer, lived in Lama, and Margherita di Renzo, age: 62, midwife, lived in Lama. They have declared the death of Zomenico de Sanctis, age: 2 1/4 hours, son of Pietro de Sanctis, and Rosa di Falco.

I question the given name "Zomenico." When I looked at the birth index list for the above date, the given name listed is "Domenico" de Sanctis.

Appreciate any input.

John

Look at the word Dichiarato below. What may look like a Z is actually a D.
