Help with Bettola birth record translation

Postby barbg » 10 Jul 2012, 00:25

I have a copy of a birth record that mentions my great great grandmother - Rosa Castignola. I would greatly appreciate any help with translation. It appears to only have women's name and no man's names. Not sure why that would be.
Not sure how I upload the copy I have. I tried a few times and it does not seem to have posted.

Hi BarbG! :-D

Try using the site postimage.org
Browse and open your image, choose "family safe", then upload the image...
COPY and PASTE the "Thumbnail For Forum1" here in this thread :-)

We'll take a look!

Marty
Thank you so much! Greatly appreciate your help. I realize now that i need to be looking for her maiden name instead - Rosa Alderici and look for her husband's name Luigi Castignoli. I didn't realize they record the woman's maiden name. And I now know that the child's name gets record in the annual record. You have been an enormous help. Thank you again
