It is not Latin! My guess is posc.o, may be "poscritto, post scripto", that is, "person that signs below".

Thank you Tommaso and Giuseppe. I'm pretty sure the first letter is an "s" ... looks to me like maybe "sosc.o", but I don't know what that term it represents.

You are right, it looks like an "s", and this way it makes even more sense: "sottoscritto" = "undersigned".
