manifestato! Of course! manifestato! Molti grazie, suanj, and to everyone else as well. It was fun working through it.
Part of my problem is that words like manifestato and avendo are not in my Italian Dictionary. Looks like I need a better dictionary.
If I may, I would like to make another request for help. I've almost got this thing completely translated. This will be a first for me so I am very happy about it. There are still a couple of details that I would appreciate help with.
1. First of all, the time of day. I know that ante meridiane means afternoon. This document says something like "
po meridiane" or maybe "
qu meridiane." Can anyone tell me what the word actually might be and does it mean before noon?
2. Also, there is a very interesting description of the mother. Here is my best guess: "Iaconis Anna Maria donna di Casa (or Capo) Suo (or Luo) moglie, Suolui (or Luolui) conavente." Anyone care to hazard a guess? I can tell you that the home that they lived in was two steps away from a church/convent.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone!
