Hi Jeff,

In year 1902 on day 29 of July at 3:40 PM at the town hall appearing before the official were Andrea Severi, age 51, peasant; and GiovanBattista Francechini, 48, cemetery caretaker; both residing in Onano, to declare that at 10:15 AM today at the place at Via S. Giovanni #20, died Giuseppe Giuliani, age 47 years and 9 months, peasant; residing and born in Onano; son of deceased Francesco, peasant and deceased Diomira(sp?) Sforza, housewife; husband of Marianna Sabatini.
Giving witness to this record were two witnesses who along with the official and the declarants signed the act.

Tessa, thank you very much for your help. The information is very important to our family. Is there any indication of how he died?

If it would not be too much trouble, could someone also please translate the death record of his wife and birth of his son (my grandfather)?

Thank you,

Jeff

Italian death records do not generally give a cause of death...

If it would not be too much trouble, could someone also please translate the death record of his wife and birth of his son (my grandfather)?

Thank you,

Jeff

Marianna Sabatini died at 10:45 PM on the 9th of February 1918 (it was declared to the town official on the 10th... the date of the record)
She was age 60, housewife, born and residing in Onano, daughter of deceased Gaspare and deceased Caterina Mancini; widow of Giuseppe Giuliani.

Francesco Giuliani was born on the 11th of May 1893 at 3 AM (he was presented by his father, Giuseppe Giuliani, to the official on the 14th at 3:40 PM.
He was born to Marianna Sabatini, peasant, wife of Giuseppe Giuliani.
