Birth record translation help

Postby JOHN08 » 26 Sep 2012, 19:19

My translation of the main points: On 23rd of June 1824 appeared Bernardo Mizi, profession: shoemaker, living in Atri, presented a male ? (is the word "bambino" or "bambina" on this record ?) baby, the same was born of Angelina Mazzaccone, age: 34, living in Atri ?, name of male ? baby: Giovanni ?

Thanks for any help.

John

Dated June 23rd- alle ore ventuno (9 P.M)

word is bambino for male infant

The birth took place on the 23rd at 1 P.M.

after "living in Atri" I believe it says "nel Rione di Santa Maria"-the quarter or district of Saint Maria

The infant was given the name Giovanni.

Witnesses: Giorgio(?) Pennese, age 40, a peasant/farmer
and Ignazio Pavone, age 25, same occupation

Baptism also took place on the 23rd.
