On 26 February, 1838, before Don Bartolomeo, Amato, second in charge after the Mayor, of the Comune of Raccuja, District of Patti, Province of Messina, appeared Giovanni La Cava, age 28, born in Raccuja, District of Patti, Province of Messina, profession of butcher, living in Raccuja, son of the deceased Carmelo, profession of butcher, lived in Raccuja while alive, and Providenzia Munforti, profession of weaver/spinner, living in Raccuja AND Maria Astone, age 23, born in Raccuja, living in Raccuja, daughter of Carmelo, professio of butcher, living in Raccuja, and the deceased Nunzia Magistro, profession of weaver/spinner, lived in Raccuja while alive.

Married in the church on 27 February 1838. Witnesses: Don Francesco Angotta & Don Giuseppe Mereidino.

Witnesses: Don Giuseppe Margiano, age 47, profession of (traficante) dealer/merchant,
living in Raccuja.
(Mro) Maestro Giuseppe Albenti, age 49, shopkeeper, living in Raccuja
(Mro) Maestro Ignazio Coifici, age 22, shoemaker, living in Raccuja
Domenico Tuccio, age 27, farmer, living in Raccuja
