Dated Dec 30, 1883 1:15 P.M. in the town hall of Castelbuono.
Informant-midwife, Antonina Mancuso, age 56, living in Castelbuono. She reported that at 6:30 a.m., on the 26th of the current month, in the house at 59 via Maurolico, a male infant was born and given the name, Giuseppe Francesco Redano. His mother was Signora Teresa Guerrieri, a landowner (civile), wife of Signor Giuseppe Redano, same occupation. Both parents were living in the town of Castelbuono.
Witnesses were Antonio Piro, age 49, a contadino (peasant/farmer,) and Giuseppe Coco, age 56, same occupation.
The midwife made the presentation in place of the infant's father because he was sick.
Only the town official signed the document as the others were illiterate.
