I think the word for Carlo's occupation is legale- lawyer

Her name is Teodolinda Cesira Giulietta

In English, we use the words "attorney" and "lawyer," so the two Italian words may just be synonyms of each other. I know in Sicilian records, I have seen the word "avvocato" used, but I've seen the word "legale" used in records I have researched in the Basilicata region. Possibly it is a regional thing, but I honestly don't know for sure if there is a distinction to be made between the two words.
