1820 Processetti, Pasquale Remigiotti

Postby JOHN08 » 13 May 2013, 07:59

My tranlation of page 2 of the processetti:

On the 3rd of January 1820, appeared: Pasquale Remigiotti, age: 38,son on Carlo - deceased, profession: peasant farmer, born: ?, son of Catanna Boccabella, born: ?, also appeared: Luigia di Attanasio, age: ?, born: ?, daughter of Angela ?, profession: ?.

My translation of page 5 of the processetti, which,I believe, is in Latin.

This record references the 1789 marriage of Luigi Mizii and Ann Nicolas Saviotti. How is this couple related to Pasquale Remigiotti?

Appreciate any corrections/additions.

Here are some of the corrections-

The groom was born in Casoli, villa di Atri (Casoli is a frazione or hamlet of the town of Atri). All parties in this record were born in Casoli.

Mother's first name is Catarina.

The bride is Maria Luisa (not Luigia)

Her father Agostino was deceased as was her mother. I see Simone for the mother's surname, so possibly the surname was De Simone. I can't read what comes after that, but both parents of the bride were deceased.

Also both the groom and bride were of adult age. Look for the word maggiore.

As to the Latin baptism record, it is dated Jan 26, 1789. It is for the legitimate and natural son of spouses Luigi Miizi and Anna Nicola Saviotti, but I can't read the son's name. I have no idea how these people are related to the couple in the marriage record. Elisabetta Finocchi was the midwife who told the parish priest that this child was born this day, a Sunday, at 6 in the night.
