Dated May 16, 1895 at 8:30 a.m. in the town hall of Pollica
Appearing were Luciano Palladino, age 49, property owner in Celso Pollica, and Giuseppe Volpe, age 63, the same. They reported that at 3 a.m. today, in the house on via San Biase, Rosa Maiuri died. She was an 81 year old day laborer, who had been born and was a resident in Celso Pollica. She was the daughter of deceased Domenico Maiuri and of deceased Teresa Schiavo. She was married to Nicola Ferro.
Witnesses: Gennaro Schiavo, age 61, barber, and Angiolo (should say Angelo) Giuda, age 63, property owner.
The informants and town official signed the document below. The witnesses were illiterate and did not sign.
