This word signifies an occuption. Timeframe 1875 in the Comune of San Leo, Pesaro-urbino

brauiante? the literal translation is burner??

not certain about the spelling it could be

I am guessing you mean the word bracciante which refers to a day laborer-someone who works with his arms (derived from the word braccio for arm
