Guido/Martino from Cosenza

Postby ItalianbellaSA » 29 Jul 2013, 03:03

Hello Everyone!

I am researching my husband's ancestry. Looking for information/family on the following:
Salvatore Guido (b. 1878 in Spezzano Grande, immigrated to the U.S. early 1900's - can't find his immigration records. He settled in Paterson, NJ

Rachele Martino (b. about 1885) in Spezzano Grande, immigrated to the U.S. 1906. Married Salvatore Guido in Spezzano Grande.

This is all the information I have. I would like to find birth and marriage records and their parents information if possible, too. If anyone knows of any relatives or knows where I can find more information about Spezzano Grande, please let me know. Thanks.

I thank you in advance to any assistance.
It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

Didn't Spezzano Grande and Spezzano Piccolo turn into Spezzano della Sila I think in the 1920's so wouldn't the records be in that comune

Thank you very much. I will see if my family history center has the films or I will order.
It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.
