another surname challenge

any thoughts on husband's last name -- Giovanni Crocchi??...although looking through some of the indexes, i do not see any last names such as this

thanks so much tessa....this is another good possibility. the earlier indexes are alphabetized by first name...i haven't had the chance to go through each name to find a similar spelling.
